Our Pork.

We purchase the pigs at around 1-2 months old. They live in an open-sided barn, where they have access to sunshine and fresh air. We were not set up to have them on pasture, but that is our goal! Stay tuned!

We offer half or whole hogs that will be custom butchered by a local butcher. You choose which cuts you’d like, including bacon, sausage, Boston butts, ribs, pork chops, etc.

 

Pricing

Price is based on the hanging weight of the hog. $3.95/lb + cost of processing.

The average hanging weight for a whole hog is around 200 lbs.

The cost of butchering will vary based on the type of cuts you choose. For example, anything that is processed further like bacon or sausage has an additional fee.

 

How much meat is that?

This is an example of what you can expect. The amount of meat you will receive varies based on the size of the animal and the cuts you choose.

This hog weighed about 300lbs. These are the actual numbers of what the customer received for their freezer.
